A fitting made of Schedule
80 PVC, or Polyvinyl Chloride, is one of the most popular choice types of
fittings in the PVF industry. This type of
fitting can be utilized in many different environments. Irrigation, chemical blending
and transportation, and water treatment facilities are just a few examples of
the many applications Schedule 80 PVC fittings can be used for. Impervious,
chemical resistant attributes allow for many Schedule 80 PVC fittings to be
implemented in a variety of systems exposed to chemicals and high pressure
surroundings. These fittings range from 1/4” up to 24” in size, and depending
on what size is required, they can be molded or fabricated and can either be socket
or threaded. A durable primer and cement is recommended when installing socket
